This was a freelance project where the client required me to illustrate some waterpark maps for their client "Six Flags" in America. 

I was given the task to illustrate 5 waterpark maps in total. This was something out of my comfort zone that I’d never worked on before, but thoroughly enjoyed the project.

I was given a satellite image of the park, where I would then turn that into an illustrated map. This included the trees, the waterslides, rocks etc.

I started by building a “skeletal” map, which would show the pathways of the park. Once this was signed off, the detail could be added to finalise.
